Sales Associate

Position Overview
Do you love interacting with people, being outside, great gear, and making people’s day better? Earth’s Edge is looking for friendly, energetic, customer-focused sales floor associates to join our team in Grand Haven and Muskegon! This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced retail environment where you’ll help customers find the right apparel and gear for their next adventure. You’ll be sharing product knowledge, creating great experiences for shoppers, and working with a team that genuinely supports each other. Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create a welcoming shopping environment
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding customer service
- Develop strong knowledge of store products, brands, and promotions
- Utilize POS system to process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
- Support visual merchandising and seasonal displays
- Help achieve daily and monthly sales goals
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers as well as Earth’s Edge team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask customer service and product monitoring in a fast-paced retail environment
- Reliable, punctual, and works well with others
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Interest in outdoor recreation, apparel, or active lifestyle brands is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable working in retail sales environment

Job Type
- Part-time: 20-30+ hours per week (hours worked may vary slightly each week)
- Flexible & able to tolerate working 4hr - 10hr shifts.
- Available through September 30, 2026 or longer.
Pay
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
