Our cotton t-shirts are by Comfort Colors and feature the Earth’s Edge logo on the front and back. Comfort Colors is known for their nature-inspired color palette and is part of the Gildan Activewear family. We offer a variety of colors in unisex adult and kids’ sizes, as well as a women’s fit in white. Team members Nora and Nolan, pictured, are wearing ‘Island Reef’ and ‘Chalky Mint’! Along with t-shirts, we have long sleeve options, hoodies, and crewnecks. Our hoodies and crewnecks are unisex sized, relaxed fit, and by Gildan Activewear. They come in gray with the Earth’s Edge logo on the front and back. Gildan Activewear created a program, Genuine Responsibility, to guide the company in its social and environmental practices. Annually they release a Genuine Responsibility Environmental Social Governance Report to show the company’s progress on initiatives made for the year. In 2019, Gildan’s Social Compliance Program, which aims to protect worker’s rights and improve working conditions, was recognized by the Fair Labor Association for a second time (the first being in 2007). Gildan also reduced their gas emissions by 13% and water usage by 11.2% from their 2015 starting point.
Tees and sweatshirts don’t make up all of the Earth’s Edge collection. We also offer hats, water bottles and stickers! Our ball cap hats feature our logo and come in a variety of neutral colors. Our water bottles are a great way to represent Earth’s Edge on the go, especially for all your outdoor adventures — hydration is key! We carry a variety of color options, there’s even one that glows in the dark! These water bottles are made in the USA by Nalgene. Nalgene has been in business 70 years and is a leading water bottle brand. Their product is lightweight, extremely durable, and free of any bisphenol analogs like BPA, BPS, BPF, or phthalates that could potentially lead to adverse health effects. In 2019, Nalgene founded the Nalgene Water Fund to support American communities tackled with finding access to clean water. Their first donation hits close to home, going to Flint, MI’s McKenzie Patrice Croom Water Lab that was created by the Flint Development Center and Great Lakes region non-profit, Freshwater Future. The lab is community driven and offers free water testing to Flint households.

When things get busy in Grand Haven during the summer, you may want to escape to nearby Muskegon for a hike or bike ride along the lakeshore. One trail that hikers and bikers should explore is the Lakeshore Trail — it is 12 miles long and offers amazing views of Muskegon Lake and Lake Michigan. Hikers and bikers will get to walk or bike through the middle of the Muskegon Lake Nature Preserve. Best of all, the path is paved so it is great for hikers and bikers of all experience levels. The path has very few changes in elevation, so it is a perfect path for everyone.
